The 2017 PGSA@UT Philosophy Conference will be held on the first floor of the Frieson Black Cultural Center at the University of Tennessee. The Frieson Center is centrally located on the Knoxville campus, near the thriving Cumberland district. Visitor parking with accessible spaces will be provided nearby.
The University of Tennessee’s campus is a 20-minute drive from Knoxville’s McGhee-Tyson Airport (TYS). Conference organizers can help arrange for local transportation and housing (if available) to help offset costs. To arrange a ride or request more information about available housing, please email email@example.com. Limited funds for travel assistance may be available to graduate student speakers based primarily on need. Requests to be considered for travel stipends should be indicated when registering for the conference.
Light breakfast, coffee and lunch will be provided at no cost to participants on both days of the conference. A post-conference reception for speakers will be held at The Tomato Head on Market Square on Saturday, March 24. Vegetarian and vegan options will be available for all meals provided.
Accessibility is very important to us, and we are committed to making our conference as widely inclusive as possible. We encourage anyone with concerns about barriers to participation to contact our organizers directly at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your specific needs.
